Teams combine their collective movie memory with their betting and bluffing skills to score as many points as they can.
The team with the highest score at the end of eight hands wins.
Included: 30 playing cards and 30 poker chips.
Poker chips keep track of betting and accepted answers.
Betting Cards include four Actor, Actress, Director and Cast Cards.
Heah-to-head Cards include four Word and Thing Cards
Three Corn Burn Cards mark wrong answers or elapsed time.
Three Free Refill Cards mark approximated answers.
You will also need internet access for fact checking, a pen and paper for score keeping and a timer (if you choose to time responses).
This is a two team game.
Make the teams fair.
Split up movie buffs, people with good long-term memories and people who spend too much time together.
Sit in a circle alternating players from each team. Place Free Refill Cards and Corn Burn Cards face up. Shuffle the rest of the cards and place the deck face down.
Each team picks a Producer to manage game play.
Producers will be responsible for:
Pick the first Dealer. The Dealer picks the category and comes up with the question for the hand.
A hand begins by the Dealer turning over three Category Cards from the top of the deck and chosing a category. Dealers can choose any of the three Category Cards.
The category choice determines if the hand will be a betting hand or a head-to-head hand.
If a Dealer gets lucky and flips over a pair of the same category, she gets to ask two questions for that category. If she flips over three of a kind, she get's to ask three questions.
The game ends after all 24 Category Cards have been flipped and eight hands are finished.
